Masters in Fashion Buying & Promotion Personal Statement
I have worked for various business organizations on many different projects which demanded many professional skills. After having learned the essentials of business, marketing and public relations, I am now strongly motivated to study the very subject I have a strong passion for, which is fashion. I have a strong background in marketing, PR, advertising & research, and I believe this will give me a solid foundation for working in the fashion industry. 
It is well known that Instituto Marangoni is the leading school in Fashion studies. After having learned about the Masters Programme at Instituto Marangoni, and the benefits it gives, I understood that this is exactly the kind of education I would like to receive. I have B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo with a major in Integrated Marketing Communications and a minor in Business Administration. After having received good education in this field, as well as relevant work experience, I decided to devote my future career to fashion and fashion studies, and the Masters Programme at Instituto Marangoni offers exactly what I need.
Throughout the course of my career so far I have put a significant amount of effort to become proficient in the most basic business activities and principles. I have held such positions as Executive Assistant, Marketing and PR Executive, Marketing Analyst, etc. for such companies as Setcore Group, ARMB Egypt, Futures Foundation and other, which allowed me to learn many skills essential to the present day business environment, as well as to express my inner creativity and passion for the aesthetics. However, I do not feel I can reach full self-realization without following the aesthetic drive and passion for clothes and fashion. I have always had the desire to be involved in the fashion industry professionally. I am deeply convinced that a Masters Programme from Instituto Marangoni will help me to develop my aesthetic talent, and lead my career to a more favorable and right direction.
The program offers some great advantages for me and for the development of my career. The programme is short in duration, which will allow me to pursue my new career faster. The specialization is narrow and exactly the type I would like to study, which makes it a unique opportunity for me. In addition to that, the programme will give me a chance to move abroad, which is a great advantage since the fashion industry is very poorly developed in Egypt. Besides, the programme is located in Milan, which is one of the main fashion centers in Europe.
I believe that in the next five years I will be able to combine the professional skills I have acquired so far with the new knowledge of fashion I will receive at Instituto Marangoni. I am convinced that my level of professionalism, good work ethic, responsibility, motivation, and personal energy will help me become a devoted and highly productive professional in the field of Fashion Buying and Promotion. I strive to develop my flairs and talents, and ultimately to work in this magnificently interesting industry in the future. I have a strong belief that with a new diploma from Instituto Marangoni I will be able to acquire a job which will allow me to express my passion for clothes and fashion, and to further develop professionally. Since the duration of the programme is short, I will have a unique opportunity to start the career of my dream very shortly.
